3-hour course in silversmithing (expired)

We no longer offer 3-hour courses in silversmithing.

If you have already bought a- or a gift card for a 3-hour course, you can still book it on a Sunday.

We also offer those who have already bought a 3-hour course to add SEK 250 and upgrade it to a full-day course at a reduced price of SEK 1000.

If you want to come on a 3-hour course in a larger group, we offer events on Saturdays.

The silver used is weighed and paid for at the end of the course.

After your purchase has gone through, we will send you an email with confirmation of your purchase and a pdf file that you can print if you want to giveaway the course as a gift.

We are located at Postgatan 6, 411 13 Gothenburg and conduct all our course activities from there.

Three hour course:

3 hours
Sundays 12:00-15:00

You can either buy the course and pay for the sliver after the end of the course or buy the course with the silver included for a fixed price, which can be good if you want to give away a course without the recipient having to pay for the silver it uses.

When you buy a "Three hour course" you have the opportunity to write a message which Sunday and what time you want to come when you click on checkout, then we confirm your time via email. Otherwise, you can contact us via email or telephone to book a time.

Note that if you give away a course that does not have the silver included, the course participant must pay for the material it uses at the end of the course.

If you have booked a date and then need to change it to another date, you simply need to contact us so we will write you in at that date, but we ask you to contact you as soon as possible.

You can also contact us to book a time and then pay on site after the course is complete or come to our beautiful studio and buy a gift certificate for a course.

If you want to learn how to design and make your own jewelry, you are welcome to attend one of our courses. You learn basic techniques and then work out your own ideas.

Gold/silver forging is a craft whose traditional techniques have been used and developed over many thousands of years.
With simple methods and tools you can create jewelry in gold/silver.

The courses are for those who enjoy working with your hands and who love the satisfying feeling of making something yourself.
We have many happy stories where course participants found their "thing" and who almost see the silversmith as pure therapy as well as a nice break from their work and everyday life.

Content:

We start with a brief review of the workshop and the tools.
Then we go through the different working methods.
In the courses you will learn how to bend, saw, file, solder and forge.
The aim of the course is that you should have designed and created jewelry according to your own idea and design.

Prior knowledge:

No prior knowledge is required.
We mix beginners with more experienced course participants to get good dynamics in the groups.
In this way you can also learn from each other.

Course materials:

All the tools and other materials needed for the courses are in the studio.
Both wire and sheet metal are used.

The material is weighed and billed for after the end of the course. We follow market prices.
